New Home Sales Increase 75% in the Sacramento area

The North State Building Industry Association (BIA) reported that there were 272 new home sales in April 2012 in the 78 communities it tracks (representing about two-thirds of the total number of active communities in the region). New home sales increased 75% in the first four months of this year over the same period in 2011. The number of visitors to new home communities was up 43% during the period January through April, compared to the same four months last year.
