          <title>Northern Nevada New Home Sales Rise 12% in 2012 First Quarter</title>

	The Northern Nevada Builders Report announced that there were 143 new home sales in the first quarter of 2012 in the 36 communities it tracks (representing about 95% of the total number of active communities in the region). This represents an increase of 12% over 2011 first quarter numbers.</p>

          <title>Where's The Inventory?</title>

            <p class="lead">
	The decrease in housing inventory is actually pretty much happening all across the country.  Out of 146 markets across the US, 118 markets have seen decreases of 10% or more.  Northern Nevada is no exception with for-sale housing inventory declining to 809 units, which is a loss of 171 properties from the February’s 980 units of for-sale inventory a decline of more than 17% in one month.</p>
